My Life As It Is (more than you ever want to know)

The alarm rings.

I hit the snooze button. 5 minutes later I hit it again. And again. And again...

Half an hour later I get out of bed.

I turn on the microwave to cook rice for the day. No rice cooker yet.

Meanwhile I get ready for work.

I head over to the kitchen to make breakfast and pack my lunch.

I sneak in a crossword puzzle during breakfast but only have time to do half.

Within an hour, the door to my apartment closes. (And the elves come out to mend my shoes. No wait, wrong story.)

Work is about 2 blocks away and takes me 5-10 minutes to walk depending on how high my heels are.

After checking my mail and reading the news, it's work, lunch, then more work.

9 hours later, the door to my apartment opens.

I cook dinner and the next day's lunch.

I watch one episode of a Chinese drama while eating dinner.

After taking a nice long shower, I start ticking off the items on my to-do list. (There's a to-do list because EVERYTIME I try to list things mentally, I will forget one important thing. And not remember it until the next day.)

Every other day I exercise.

Once a week I call my mum.

I try to blog as often as I can.

I read the books I borrowed from the library.

Sometimes, I catch up with a friend.

The crossword puzzle left half blank in the morning gets filled in as much as possible.

Every other Wednesday I do laundry (which takes up a good chunk of time with the ironing).

If I have extra time, I study for FAP but that's not happening much.

I get ready for bed.

When I feel sleepy, I snuggle underneath my super-comfy comforter with my puppies and dream the night away.

The alarm rings.
